Went to Sugarloaf for a loop on the Swtizerland Trail - 3.7 miles down to Sunset, 1.9 miles up Pennsylvania Gulch and 4.3 miles on another spur of the Switzerland Trail to Sugarloaf. 9.9 miles and 1,650'

SATURDAY
Dry Creek with Hudson at 6am for an hour - everyone was beating the heat so Hud saw maybe 15 dogs. We did two loops walking; the first with a woman and her Border Collie mix and then with Dick and Trouble. 3.8 miles
Buchanan Pass later in the morning. Maureen and I agreed on 2.5 hours so got in a casual 11.3 miles with 1,000' with plenty of scrambling over fallen trees and log bridges
FRIDAY
Dry Creek with Hud. He finally saw a few other dogs
No other run - hoping for a big weekend in the mountains
THURSDAY
The exact same day as Wednesday - except Hud was chasing birds today and Mount Sanitas was about 30 seconds slower

A decent month highlighted by the Jemez half marathon and a 10K but June needs to be better
WEDNESDAY
Dry Creek with Hud at a brisk pace at 5:30am. Hud chased - unsuccessfully - 4 bunnies. The last time was not even close and a praire dog started yelling at him. 2.1 miles
Mount Sanitas after - did the full loop since was by myself (includes some tougher hiking Hud would not like). 3.4 miles with 1,357' in a PR 42:03
TUESDAY
Day off - drive back to Boulder plus a few cocktails last night with a few buddies
MONDAY
Park with Hud - 20+ minutes of tennis and creek wading
Atalaya Mountain later that morning with Maureen - sort of.
Her foot was a little sore so dropped her off at a different trail head that would make her round-trip about 2 miles shorter and we would get to the summit at about the same time (she had yet to hit the summit). I made it to the summit but no Maureen. She had gone on a different trail - but we made it back to the car at the same time. 7 miles with 1,781'
